Reformatting Your Hard Drive – Week 6

There’s an old saying; “Just wait until you have children of your own, I hope you have a kid just like you, then you’ll see.”   Odds are if you heard this a long time ago, then you probably have.  However, if you heard this more recently, and have yet to be “paid back” I have some good news and some bad news.

Good news is you can prevent from being “paid back”, bad news is that if you don’t reformat your personal hard drive it will happen to you.

You’re probably wondering what I mean by that.  You see your computer has this storage device called a hard drive, and even though you spend a lot of time each day, the average time wasted looking each day is about 50 minutes, looking for stuff, there are things you never realize are in there.

Here’s an easy example; If you’re driving your car and you see the police along side of the road the first thing you do is step on the brake, and the odds were you weren’t speeding or doing anything wrong.  Better yet you see the “red lights” coming from behind you and you get this sick feeling and wonder if they are after you.  Why did you get that feeling?

You see your subconscious mind has been “programmed” to react to specific situations, and that programming started when you were born.  Ever notice there are often generations of farmers, police officers, or maybe military members in a family, and wonder why?

Everybody knows these are dangerous occupations, the hours aren’t always the best, the pay isn’t the highest, there is a lot of stress and pressure to always be prepared, so do you think that generation after generation they were encouraged and told this was the occupation for them?

The fact is that in most cases it was not, in fact in a lot of cases the younger generations were discouraged to follow in the previous generations footsteps.  The truth is this happens is a lot of occupations, but they words of the elders are often ignored, and most people wonder why.

It is because everyone in some shape or form is a product of their environment, what they learned early on in their life, so when it came time to make that decision it took about 7-seconds to decide.

So you’re probably thinking “Great, I’m doomed, I’m going to be just like everyone else in my family, and that’s exactly what I didn’t want.”

Well, sorry, you are wrong, you can change, and you can have whatever you want.  You just need to make a conscious decision when it comes to what you want and don’t want.

You can have whatever you want, you just have to take the first step like everyone else in the MKMMA, this is a choice, and a chance to reformat your personal hard drive and install the programs that will help you succeed.

The Journey Continues……….

We believe in you.
